IVC Powers Data for Tiskilwa First Responders

So, was showing Adam Lind of Spring Valley around on his smartphone at this past Wednesday’s Smartphone class at Streator’s Wireless Solution Center… and as I’m showing the EMT and his wife cool apps for their Motorola Milestone X’s (ie. Tikl Talk, HeyTel, and TuneIn Radio) he tells me about how his brand new phone powered the data for the first responder’s laptops at the train derailment and explosion in Tiskilwa last week.  Once again, another reason to be on the IVC network… Rural coverage.

At Illinois Valley Cellular, we thank all of those men and women in uniform who put their lives in danger to keep us safe.  Thanks to the Firemen, EMTs, Police and Sheriff’s deputies who took the call last week and prevented what could have been a much bigger disaster for those living in Tiskilwa and Bureau County.
