The NORAD Tracks Santa App is the official mobile app of the NORAD Tracks Santa program. Watch the days countdown to Santa’s flight, follow Santa’s progress on December 24, play “Thin Ice” to help Santa’s elves deliver presents, and learn about NORAD and its mission.
Please note that the countdown in the app is NOT a countdown to December 25. It is a countdown to when the app begins tracking Santa’s flight.

Illinois Valley Cellular is on Foursquare! But what is it?
Foursquare is a location-based social networking service, mostly used on smartphones. The idea is that people “check-in” to venues they’re at — restaurants, bars, stores, etc. — which lets users keep track of where their friends are hanging out. There’s also a game involved, where users earn points for their activity and unlock “badges.” And if you check-in the most to a venue, you become the “mayor.” The company has signed numerous partnerships with big brands to promote the service, and is working on business development projects with local merchants.
Illinois Valley Cellular has joined the Foursquare phenomenon. We will soon be offering deals through check-ins at all 11 of our Wireless Solutions Centers. New BlackBerry AppWorld NOW AVAILABLE
Android has a new market… at 7 this morning AppWorld 3.0 went live on all BB devices running OS 5 +.
The folks at CrackBerry released news of the beta, last month:
BlackBerry App World 3.0 is amazing. A complete redesign of App World 2.0, the new version features a much more relatable carousel of apps and categories; searching is made easier; and in general, the entire experience has been improved. Today, though, App World becomes even more amazing-er with the release of App World 3.0.0.59.
Included in this latest release are “UI changes to the background and app details screen,” “Further improvements to the speed and screen transitions,” and “Various bug fixes.”
Txt U L8r talking text App for BlackBerry Users
Everyone has a problem with getting texts while driving. We all know that it is dangerous to text while driving. There is an app in the BlackBerry App world called Txt U L8r that actually reads texts out loud while the user is driving. When the text comes in the voice says “New text message from _____” then reads out the text. In this process a text is sent back to the texter that says “I heard your message read by the Car and Driver Txt U L8r appand will get back to you when I’m done driving. Drive Safely.” This App is free however there are more features that can be unlocked by purchasing the full Drive Safe.ly app at $19.99.
